Pomona vs Long Beach for chemical engineering

Hey guys I need a little help deciding where I should transfer to. I know both of these schools are good for engineering, but I don't know which ones better. I hear lots of good things about Pomona I'm leaning towards that, but I honestly don't know. If you were in place what would you choose and why? Thanks for your time.

Both are strongly recruited by local L.A. firms.

Academically both programs will serve you well.

I would compare based on the environment and cost. It may be easier getting classes at Pomona which is something to consider. However, if you prefer Long Beach, I would not second guess it.

Thanks for the response I guess its more to do with which ones campus and environment I like since the academics is practically the same.

That’s right. No wrong choice here.
Congrats on your acceptances.

I am a parent, andI I find that within the Cal State system, “today” choosing between CPP and CSULB (both have very good reputations for engineering) ,difficult for many reasons. However, in the end the truth is - visit the school, try to absorb the atmosphere and environment as much as you can because in the end if you are not happy - your grades will reflect that.

Congratulations on being accepted to both!
