Pomona's 100% need fin aid

I feel like pomona's financial aid sounds too good to be true. It meets a hundred percent of financial need without loan. Assume that my parents make 0. Does that mean Pomona will pay for my full tuition?

That depends. Do they have assets that they could be using to send you to college? You should become familiar with the financial aid process, and EFC calculations under FAFSA, as well as how the CSS Profile augments the FAFSA info. The financial aid forum is really helpful on this stuff.

Pomona is known as being fair and generous with need-based aid, and will do its best to make the college affordable for everyone it admits.

If your parents make less than $40,000, Pomona expedites the process. I think they have to file the FAFSA and send in their tax returns and that’s it. Those people have no EFC and thus will have full tuition and a large part of room and board payed for.

wow sounds great thnx
