<p>I'm a junior with a 2.7 GPA at my current college, a mid-tier Liberal Arts school. I also have college coursework from high school which averaged with my current GPA brings it to a 3.1. I have strong EC's (newspaper editor, crew, volunteer work) and a 2300 SAT score from high school. I'm a FL resident, so I'm most likely headed to a school down there (preferably New College). Where else should I look? I don't mind spending an extra year in school, and I would look into private schools if I wasn't concerned with financial aid (all private schools I'm aware of only grant 8 semesters of financial aid, regardless of transfer status.) </p>
<p>Most importantly, not only am I very unhappy at my current school but I need more time to raise my GPA before I graduate. Right now I plan to attend law school; I'm worried my awful GPA will ruin me, even if I do well on the LSAT.</p>
