I'm more of a lurker than anything here and I always see people posting about their "poor grades." What do you all consider "poor?"

For me, I'd say 70-79 is poor. 85+ seems decent to me.

Anything B and lower. B+ and higher is fine.

In AP Classes - Below A " B " Is Horrible To Me.
In Regular Classes, Anything Below An " A " Is Horrible To Me

As long as I get all bs and as I’m happy.

For me: Anything below an A.
For other people: Anything below a C.

Pfft I’m a senior in denial. I could have a 56 in class and still say that my grades are great. Right now I have a D in a class (only have one test grade which I got a 62 on…only did half of it…details details). I have a chance to get it to an A. My grade in that class is still “great”.

There’s no such thing as poor grades in my book. ;)

But legit if I brought home all Cs those would be rather “poor”.

Anything lower than a 100 is “bad” for me. Obviously, I don’t get 100’s on every single test, quiz, and paper, but I still don’t like it when I don’t. I honestly get so upset whenever I get something back that’s not a 100. When it’s a paper for English, I’m fine as long as I get an A, because no English teacher would give a 100 on a paper. But on tests and quizzes, I’m only happy with 100’s.

It depends on the class. Anything besides math, lower than a 94 (Our lowest A) is bad. For math, below an 86 (our lowest B) is bad. For math and science APs, below a B. For any other AP, below an A.

Most people at my school are fine with A
s and B
s, and sometimes C`s.

Standards for myself:

Math: Below a B-
Anything AP & not English: Below a B
Non-AP class excluding math: Below an A
English of any level: Below an A

In an AP class, anything less than a B+ is poor for me and in a regular/accelerated/honors class, anything under an A- is poor. Although, I see an A- ok in only certain things that are relatively subjective in grading such as papers.

In anything that is not math I consider anything that is not an A bad. In math anything lower then a high B.

Poor is below a 59.

I’d be frustrated if I got below a C.

79 or below (which is a C at my school)In some classes, Bs are disappointing though.

For other people, anything that’s a F is poor. I know some people who are happy to get a D.

until november: anything below 90 is a disgrace
after november: 80+ is good enough for me

ahh senior year :D

It definitely depends on the class for me. I have a B- in AP Physics and I’m totally content with that, but I expect myself to get As in the rest of my classes.

It isn’t really poor, but I prefer not to get lower than 92. In my scale B+ and lower is no bueno.

If I get anything less than straight A’s I feel like doo doo, which is how I feel right now.

Depends. For math, it’s anything below a B. For everything else, it’s a disgrace to get anything below an A.

Anything, regardless of class rigor - beneath a 90 is awful to me. I get particularly peeved when I have a low 90 in an elective… like Art…

I strive for all A’s in my classes. So anything below a 90 is disappointing. I really don’t care what I get on assignments, tests, etc, as long as the overall grade stays 90+.
