I am an ED applicant to the College of Arts and Sciences and was wondering if NYU will look at only my ACT scores. I took the SAT once last spring and did poorly because I was sick several days leading up to the test and was still feeling nauseated on the day of the test. Needless to say, my SAT scores are significantly lower than my ACT scores. I thought I would be able to get around this by just sending my ACT scores (they are the only scores mentioned on my Common App), but it turns out I must send my SAT Reasoning Test scores along with my Subject Test scores.

Will NYU still take into consideration my low SAT Reasoning Test scores? Should I let the admissions committee know about my plight I had taking the test?
