Is it bad that I did my essay on Harry Potter? I was considering doing Dorothy Parker because she's my favorite writer but I realized asside from her works I knew nothing about her. Then I considered Jo March from Little Women since she's been my roll model for many years but that seemed overdone and also because I had trouble elaborating the effect she has had on me since it's mostly based around the fact that we are both tomboys, rebels and want to be writers. I didn't know if it was a good idea to write that. I'm freaking out now about my Harry Potter essay and think it's immature. Let me know.

It depends on your interpretation of HP. Why don't you PM me the essay?

you must be a real fan of Harry . Even your nickname sounds like Roonie Weasley

Do you know the band Roonil Wazlib? Or did you just get it from the books?

And also, don't show your essay to anyone on this site. Play it safe; I speak from experience.

I think any topic is good for an essay. As long as you didn't come off as immature, and as long as the essay was deep, it'll be fine. The essay is more about you than the character you choose; the topic is just a starting point to let you talk about yourself.

I didn't want to steal the essay, you know :). My essays are done, and I'm happy with them. I'd like to hear your esperience, though, because I've been showing my essays to people.
