Pop Up Spam

Well that stinks, @intparent.
I discovered that I was able to “retrieve” the old app I had deleted (because it was in my “purchased” history) and reinstall it on my ipad. No problems with those annoying spam pop ups with the app!

I have the app on my iPad, it seems. Got that lovely pop up this morning. @jym626

So far so good. Don’t want to jinx it @thumper1

Back again. Amazon prize! iPhone 6, iOS 11.2.6. @CCadmin_Sorin

I’ve been getting the spam popups again starting last night. They’re frequent enough to make the site entirely unusable today. Android phone.
@CCadmin_Sorin

Me, too. IPhone 6 on iOS 11.2.6. @CCadmin_Sorin thanks!

I don’t get them at all when I go on cc through the app. Why is the app no longer available?? I was able to reinstall it on my iPad since I’d had it there before, and NO POP UPS since then.

Just started getting one today on my Android phone. I’m only able to post this because I am using an adblock browser to post right now. Chrome, my default phone browser, is unusable on cc right now because of the pop-up hijack.

Getting a lot of roulette wheel spam on my iPhone 7 iOS 11.3.1.

Got my first one after a long hiatus. IPhone 6. Really, really annoying.

Getting.them too…

Roulette wheel is what it was for me too. And it took over the main CC page behind hte popup as well. Currently on a laptop blocking ads so I can post this.

Same roulette wheel problem since last night on Android in Bing (which I like for CC because of how it displays on my phone); not yet affecting Chrome.

I was wrong; it’s in Chrome, too. I can only use CC on a computer.

Roulette today on iPhone 6 iOS 11.2 @CCadmin_Sorin

Started this morning - cannot use CC on my iPhone without spam popping up immediately. Clearing browsing history etc does not work. Can only use CC on my laptop.

Roulette wheel here also. Hope the fact that I could finally get here to post means it has been blocked/fixed.

I’m also getting the roulette wheel…on iPad Air 2.

Annoying…and it happens over and over and over.

If you don’t clear history (specifically, the one or two offending links,) it sits there ready to reload.
I had this repeat problem yesterday because when I clicked chrome, CC came up in mobile mode, not the "full site " I always opt for on my android. No idea why this shift.

Close CC. I hit the button that shows all open tabs. Sometimes called the “recents” soft tab. Bottom of my phone face, with the back and home buttons. Close CC there. Go to another open tab to see history.

Not perfect yesterday. I tried a few times, powered off my phone, then restarted. History didn’t have the offenders. I opened CC, immediately clicked to full site and was ok.

Clunky explanation, yes. But we’re all trying to blindly work through this with no geeks to guide.
Good luck.

I am getting “this site is trying to load pop up ad”or something like that. I just click on “don’t allow.” I’m on an IPad Air.
