Pop Up Spam

I got it about an hour ago after five minutes on the site. Not Amazon this time. Back to laptop.

Guys, thanks for your valuable feedback and the screenshots. I’ve forwarded those to the tech team and we’ll update you as soon as we have news. Thanks!

Just sent another picture.

Wow, so glad to know it’s your site and not my ipad. I tried wiping cache and history, twice, and resetting iPad afterwards once. Next step woul’ve been to wipe the ipad, but then I realized it’s only happening on this site. Happens once a day or whenever I wipe my history. Happened last night.

It’s back…just got it…gain.

IPad Air, most recent iOS, CC through Safari.

Ironically, this is the only thread I have had pop-ups on lulz

Job security for tech team?

Hoping this does jinx me again…but I haven’t gotten this pop Since this morning.

Just got a pop up for amazon gift card. Snap shot it and sent it in.

Happened immediately after getting the "oops someone went wrong page. "

I repeatedly got the popup for an Amazon gift card on CC yesterday afternoon (6/25). I was on my iPad at JFK, if it matters. Total bummer for me because I had a long layover and wanted to do some CC catching up.

^ Why did the popup stop you? I just close the tab and continue (iOS).

@vonlost some pop-ups lock ur browser, so you have to clear ur browser data (cache, cookies). on computer u have to forcibly end the process thru task manager and clear browser to make sure the remnants r gone for good

The pop-up stopped me because it was every four or five page views if not more frequently.

But, I haven’t gotten it since Saturday.

Thanks, sorry life isn’t so easy everywhere.

With all due respect, the popups are a risk to security. You have to close the browser and they are clear traps for information. I’m well aquainted with places where life isn’t easy. Separate issue than internet security and wisdom to avoid the site on a mobile device for a few days.

I was unable to close the page with the popup, so I had to power down each time I tried to get on CC.

I would like to offer a thanks to the IT team for dealing with this and asking for screenshots.

@GnocchiB, can you set your browser to open a page in a tab instead of a new page?

9:16 pm…just got the Amazon card pop up…again. First time in a few days.

Why does this keep happening again and gain.

@CCadmin_Sorin

IPad Air, using safari to access CC.

@vonlost not sure how to do that on my iPad
