Totally understand and respect that choice. 
I think the members can customize their own use if the site.having their birthdays is not essential info.
Is anyone else having this problem? This has been happening to me the last few days. I keep getting the “One more step to complete your registration” popup.
What are you referring to?
When I’m logged in, I keep getting a popup that says:
“Welcome to College Confidential”
“One more step to complete your registration”
I complete all the information each time (name, birthdate, and what describes you) and click the Complete Your Registration button. Then, I can read something in the forum. But, if I click the back button to go back to the main page of latest threads, I get the popup again.
I wanted to add this this only seems to happen when I’m on the Latest tab. If I’m viewing topics from the New tab or Unread tab, this doesn’t happen. But, I get this popup every time I come to the Latest tab (either by clicking the tab directly or by using the back button after reading a topic that I accessed from the Latest tab).
I have the exact same issue.
I’m not an expert here, but I would suggest you log off, and actually turn your computer off and then on and log onto CC again . See what happens.
This should be going away very soon.
