<p>I'm a pretty popular guy, and my outlook on life is that I'd rather be cherishing moments with others than being introverted and studying all night. I pity those type of people, actually. I've been able to maintain a 85 - 90 average throughout my tenure in highschool with minimal effort. Most of the time I'm either playing basketball, occasionally smoking weed, going to parties, or my one true love... sleeping. I'm very attentive in class, but when I leave school, I'm totally disoriented.</p>
<p>I can't stand being in my house for more than a day at a time. I need to get out. But I'm still a nerd. So keep in mind that not all nerds stay home and study all the time.</p>

<p>I think you can be popular and the same time have good grades. There's a guy in my school who's just that. I guess it's because he's friendly with everyone and doesn't look at himself as being too superior to others. I think it's a new trend because most of the other popular guys are dumb but this guy stands out.</p>
<p>For me...when I was in Jr High, I was popular without trying. I didnt give a 8888 either way.</p>

<p>i agree. Popularity takes a lot of time...
for SOME people they can be popular w/o trying but for others you have to spend time on it, and that takes away your thoughts/time on studying, etc.</p>
<p>nah, I'm not popular. I just dont judge people or single them out so...I pretty much get along with everyone: the preps, stoners, goths, band geeks, if you'll talk to me and think i'm worth your time, I'm open. </p>
<p>I've only got one best friend though...but have very few people that I dont get along with...</p>
<p>as far as grades go, 4.2 straight A's. I must say though, a lot of the kids that are really freakin social and do nothing but talk...they dont do too well. Our valedictorian is usually one of those types, but he/she usually figures out some way to mix the two.</p>
