i have many friends but i have no best friend

and i have many VERY close friends you can almost consider them my best friends.. but i agree that the number of "best friend" (s) should be kept verrrrry low.

i agree with futureiceskater in that you shouldn't have many best friends and that's why i only have 2

I have a few best friends. I just think that limiting it to one or two discounts for the presence of a multiple way tie

For those of you who have a single "best friend," what makes them such to you?

Are they really that different than the friends right.. below.. them?

The only difference between my best friend and the rest of them is that i can get a call from him as late as 1 AM. The other's call me (or i call them) once or twice a week in the middle of the day. I guess that my "best friend" is the one who is always easy to reach.

well i guess PARENTS let me hang out with my bbfl more htan other friends cuz they trust her more... otherwise...
well actally we have more in common than me and other ppl so we generally can agree on anyyyything. We've never ever had a fight in my life (well xpt for before we bcame "best friends")

i just can not figure out what bbfl is.........

Best Friend For Life.
lol =)

Oh..how could i not get that lol

What's the other 'b' for, then? And where's the 'f' in "for"?

Hmmm.

I think people like me and I don't have to "try" to make myself popular, if that's what I am. I'm a drama kid (they're the most wonderful people ever... in my school, at least proud of her friends :D) and months after a performance total strangers still come up to me in the hall and tell me they loved me in whatever play. It still strikes me as a bit odd, but... shrugs :) I don't spend time boosting my reputation in various social circles... they come to me.

At my school, the popular kids--i.e., homecoming royalty, elected ASB officers, etc--are often also the kids who are in drama, in Honor Society, shop in second-hand clothes stores, have really interesting hobbies and things like that. There are also, naturally, some of the goodlooking, empty-headed kids, but it's not exclusive.

maybe it's best "buddies" for life.
