Por Favor me amigo...a little help?

Thank you for reading this post. I would also like your advice on what my chances are for my list of colleges as in reaches, super reaches, match etc. If you could give me some advice on other colleges to look into it would be great also. Here's a little bit about me: I am Asian, female and will be a senior in two days.

PSAT: lowest level of merit 97%
AP: US history-5, Macroeconomics-5, Lit-4, stats-5, I will take two more APs, in total, we have 2 more that I will not take
Post Secondary: art I and painting at the University of MN

My current list of colleges are as follows: University of Minnesota Twin Cities, University of Wisconson Madison, U of Chicago, U of Washington St Louis, Northwester, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Harvard (I know i won't get in but for kicks). O yes, I hope to go into pre med with bio and another major in Art. Thanks again.
junrox is online now

What's your weighted GPA? It seems that you definitely have the credentials to get into all of those schools...well, most, Harvard always seems to be a crapshoot. Anyway, you should try for some more competitive tech schools if you're interested...like, MIT or Caltech.

Chicago: slight reach
WashU: slight reach
Northwestern: slight reach
Cornell: slight reach
Johns Hopkins: slight reach
Harvard: reach
UMinnesota/UWisconsin: safety

I'm not sure what my weighted Gpa is b/c our school just started weighted grades for my class last year. Ok, so basically you think I need more matches? Also, would tech schools be easier for me to get into since i'm a girl? But I"m not sure if they would be good since i want to go into med. thanks a ton

It can't hurt to try for the tech schools (I think they would give a strong analytical background needed for med, and you could have more focus just because the liberal arts classes aren't forced upon you). Although, Hopkins is probably the best place for you...

Thanks, i'm definitely going to apply to johns.
