Port Triton- Getting a job process and experiences?

<p>I know it's currently fall quarter (14) but I would like to find a job for next quarter. I've applied to a couple jobs through Port Triton but I'd like to know how it'll work once I have submitted my application. Like should I only to get any form of reply (if any at all) once the application deadline has passed? Do they usually not start contacting throughout as applications are submitted? And how do you get notified if they want to interview you? Is it always sent in to the UCSD email? And if you have experiences getting a job through Port Triton please share :) </p>

I’m never sure if they get my applications when I submit through Port Triton. I’ve gotten a job as a Lab Assistant by applying through Port Triton, but in that case I sent my resume directly to the email posted in the description. A few days later, they sent me an email asking if I could go in for an interview.

Basically, I’d suggest looking for jobs which say something along the lines of “Please send resume/CV/etc directly to -email-.”

Hope this helps a little, even if it’s already more than halfway through winter quarter. If you found a job already, congratulations!
