<p>Uh… so when i check BU portal a while ago it said we have record that you applied to college of arts and sciences yadayada… now that part is gone and instead all it says in place of that is “We have received your application to Boston University for the September 2013 semester.” This happen to anyone else? i wanted to make sure I applied to CAS and i remebered seeing it there but now it’s gone? Or am i remebering wrong and the CAS thing is for another college?</p>

My daughter’s portal didn’t change as of right now, 3/11 9:45pm.</p>

<p>I find this sort of concerning…I applied ED and I experienced a similar change in my portal status, from saying I was an “Early Decision Applicant for September 2013 Term” to just an “applicant for September 2013 Term”, as did many others. I ended up being deferred, and from what I’ve gathered, the same thing happened to other EDers that had portal changes.</p>
<p>I’m not saying the correlation is a definite sign, but it does alarm me…</p>

<p>When I got feedback on why I was deferred they explained that my math grades in earlier years were too low, and since I was applying as a math major is was a major setback. I changed my major to undecided but still CAS.</p>

<p>I would love to hear whether other people’s portal statuses have changed as well. Perhaps they’re just updating their systems slowly and some are being updated more that others; let’s try out best not to jump to negative conclusions.</p>

Perhaps our portals changed because they’ve put in our decisions, but just haven’t got to some people like ogyn. Or maybe it just depends if we’ve declared our major? (Idk if oygyn did). But I still don’t think mine has ever said anything different!</p>
