My UNC portal which worked fine-- now says “no account listed by that name.” I will email my admissions person tomorrow but has this happened to anyone else?
Yes, this has happened to me as well. I tried logging in, and after a couple of unsuccessful attempts, I tried resetting my password, but it said that my account doesn’t exist.
I’m waiting for an emailed UNC response to see what this about. Mine still doesn’t work. I assume it’s no big deal. Actually makes me feel better that it happened to you too.
Yup, I’ve emailed them as well, but I actually got an email back saying that they’ll try to reply back within 3-5 days. Did you get an email like this as well? And did they already receive all the parts of your application (test scores, transcript, recs, etc.)?
Didn’t work yesterday, but works today! They seem to have consolidated and reverted back to old email from new one.
@solemnswear I got the same response. They had all the parts of my application by Oct 15. Portal was working fine before. I just happened to check it again and noticed I couldn’t access it. @sunnyschool mine still doesn’t work. What do you mean by reverted back to old email from new one?
I think they must have had his old email previously…but when he did applications he used a new email. When he first got the portal email, it was his new email. But yesterday, the system didn’t recognize the email. So, he tried his old one…didn’t work. But today, tried again and now the old email works. So I’m thinking they were working on consolidating accts or something. Or system updates.
I am having the same trouble with my portal too. It was fine a few days ago, & they had received all of my materials.
Email them and they’ll fix it.

Mine was fixed Friday. They sent me an email saying they corrected the issue and to give it another try. I don’t know what the original problem was.
Mine also not working. Emailed them Friday and received the auto response that they would try to get back to me in 3-5 days
Mine works. I wasn’t aware it was ever down.
My account was also fixed a day after I emailed them, they were really quick with their response
