<p>Hi, bit of a cross post from the visual arts forum where it was suggested about going straight onto a MFA in art on the strength of your portfolio (my first degree is British and totally unrelated).</p>
<p>Ignoring other factors like test scores and my undergraduate marks (which were fine- upper second), would US or Canadian universities accept my portfolio in terms of standard to get onto an MFA? If so, what quality of institution are we talking?
If not, what do I need to work on? If there are any Brits that happen to read this, could they do they same for the UK?</p>
