So many schools ask for portfolios. I have NO idea what I would put in one. The only things I really have done are drafts and building models (along with some collage thing and a client board). Should I be drawing things? Still life?

Help, pleeeease!

Yes, colleges want to see your observational abilities. Still lifes, perspectives, drawings of all sorts should be in the portfolio: Most colleges want to see solid freehand drawing capabilities. All sorts of arts are acceptable, however. Different colleges prefer different things.

My portfolio consisted mainly of digital art, along with a handful of paintings and drawings, a mask, a sculpture, and a photograph or two.
