<p>Are you allowed to send in your portfolio with general admission forms? I was thinking of compiling all my artwork into a short pamplet and mailing it in together. </p>
<p>I've been getting mixed responses. One of my friends, who's at brown, says that it will help my chances 10x. My school says the less documentation the better. And is it better if you apply for design-related majors when you send in your portfolio? I have been wanting to do psychology.</p>
<p>There is a part of most college apps (at least the higher-end) which has instructions for sending in optional artistic material, ie artwork, music. I think they usually want artwork on slides...but you should go to the schools you're thinking of and look it up, or call up admissions and inquire as to the best mode of delivery.</p>

<p>Would it significantly boost my admission chances? Saying that the work is very good, thoughtful, mature and personal.</p>
