<p>How hard would it be for me to learn Portuguese after knowing Spanish? I feel that I will be basically fluent in Spanish in a few years and would like to learn Portuguese after that. I know they are pretty similar, but how similar?</p>
<p>According to my mom, it would be pretty easy to learn. Many of the words are the same or are very similar.</p>
