Eh, I'm sorry, guys, but this isn't an interesting thread. :) Merely an inquiry to the general population here about which leadership position available to me I should pursue for next year. The number you can shoot for is limited to one, so I kind of need to make a decision really quickly lol.

So Position A is the spot everyone thinks I should go for, seeing as most of its packaged duties are most consistent with the work I've been doing this year for the club. It's also ridiculously easy to hold, and has equal supposed prestige with Position B. (<---slightly whestige prorish? :/)

Position B, on the other hand, requires a staggering amount of time and effort to take care of all the demanding work that comes with it. It's also, despite all this, equal to Position A in supposed prestige. Part of its duties are very well suited for me already, and I think I'd really enjoy learning about and challenging myself with the rest of it. But I'm just not sure if the rest of the club would recognize how much needs to be done by the person holding this place. If not and they assume it equal to Position A, then, well...

As of now, I'm really interested in Position B. But I'm worried that if I take it, then this other person who in no way deserves any position after the (lack of) work he/she has done this year will just grab Position A. Which would be bad, seeing as it's ridic easy to handle and he/she would get just as much recognition for it as I would in B.

But if I take A, that person might take B anyway (not knowing about the workload) and end up spreading around the word that he/she does tons more than I do...which would be kind of true. Leading to more opportunities for that person for later years. Ahhhhh...

Is this a bit confusing? Shallow? First of all, I cannot stand this person. He/she has also done nothing and is determined to suck up every leadership position in our school possible by pure sycophancy. This is really starting to annoy me...please help me out? :)
