Possibilities of getting into Louisiana colleges?

I have a 2.9 weighed GPA(yes, I was not a good student freshman year, but I’ve improved a bunch since then) and scored a 29 on the ACT (26 math, 27 science, 31 english, 32 reading). What colleges can I get into in Louisiana? Especially LSU.

From the College Data website, it looks as if you would be accepted at Univ. of Louisiana at Lafayette. You can use the website to check how you would fit with the other colleges. http://www.collegedata.com/cs/data/college/college_pg01_tmpl.jhtml?schoolId=1086

You are well above the required ACT for LSU. You do not have the 3.0 but with a 29, I would absolutely apply. You need a 3.0 to go with the 29 for scholarships and the highest level of TOPS but you still qualify for approximately $7,000/year from TOPS. Are you a junior or senior? If you are a junior, you have time to over 3.0. Remember that LSU will weight your GPA so your school’s weighted GPA is irrelevant.

Never hurts to call. I’d call TOPS as well and see if you got a 3.0 your freshman year if you could bump up to the TOPS for a 29 ACT.
