Does anybody know or have heard of anyone having their admissions withdrawn after getting poor grades in their senior year?

I got a D in math for my senior year... but the rest of my grades were maintained at As and Bs and I was admitted into Comparative Literature which quite obviously does not have anything to do with math. What are my chances of having my admission rescinded? I'd be extremely upset if it did got revoked :/

I don't know of anyone getting their UCLA admission rescinded for a single D (ask Brandnew2). I don't think it'll happen to you either, given that the D isn't in a course related to your admitted major.

thanks for the advice, I submitted the academic changes form on the actual day decisions were released... but they still haven't got back to me. Oh well, nothing I can do now, if only it was 1 grade higher, I wouldn't have to go through all this angst. argh.

You can call them like I did and speak to an admissions counselor (M-F 1-4 PM). I spoke to one then she forwarded me to the lady who was handling my case and we went through the whole deal over the phone. I then receieved an email from her so now its all good. I turned in my form later than you (i did it on monday).

Forwarded to someone dealing with your case? You can get them to do that for you?

Seems like they don't even want to speak to me. I explain my situation and they just refer me away while speaking in a monotone voice.

I forgot to report a PhyscSci class in 9th grade in which I got a D and a repeat Alg2 class....I have been trying to get them to help me out for a week now! I call them everyday!
