Possibility of getting 30+

So I took the ACT in March (state administered test) and got a dismal score of 26...so I bought a couple of books to prep me for the June test, and I've only taken 4 tests so far, but I've managed to get 31+ on all of them, so I'm wondering why there is such a large disrepency between my scores? The tests weren't taken in quiet conditions, and they were taken in the afternoon, with many distractions going on such as tv and brothers playing video games. So I'll take a test this Saturday morning just to see what I'll get, but is it possible for me to get at least a 30+ on the June test?

Pretty much everyone I know of scores higher on practice tests vs the real thing. My guess is the pressure of the real thing vs no real pressure on a practice test. How the tester handles that pressure may result in real scores being closer to practice scores.

Keep taking the practice tests until a few days before then take a break and get rest for Saturday morning.

Your 30+ score is definitely possible - follow kldat1’s advice…

From which book you are getting 30+? Some books are easier than the real test. Also, you may simply get familiar with the test format after the first real test, so you are getting better scores now. You should have done more practice tests before the first attempt.
