I've already accepted my offer of admission to UIUC, but I'm kind of worried about my falling grades (until this semester, I've gotten mostly A's and several B's).

Most likely outcome:
AP Calculus AB: B
Electives: A
AP Physics B: C (possibly a D)
AP English Lang/Comp: A
AP Gov: B

Should I be worried? Do you think they'll rescind my acceptance?

i got a C in british literature first semester and i emailed my regional advisor. she said as long as ur math and science grades dont drop to C levels, then this shouldn’t be reason to rescind ur admission. so id be careful about ap physics dude

I’m not going to go into anything math- or science-related, though.

What is your major? Unless you were accepted into a very competitive program, like Accounting, I don’t think you’ll have to worry. The threat of rescinding is mostly there to keep lazy students from completely slacking off as soon as they’re accepted. Just keep studying hard and try to bring up physics a little! As soon as you hit the summer you’re free to relax.

I’ll be majoring in English.

oh then u got nothing to worry about man haha ur good

I hope so! I’ve been freaking out all week. (By the way, I’m not a “man,” but I guess it’s kind of difficult to tell online.)
