Possibility of losing USC Trustee Scholarship?

Hello CC,

I am currently in a bit of a predicament.
I am usually a decent student, mostly A's and maybe 1 or 2 B's at most... and yet, I'm having the hardest time keeping my grades up during my senior year. I'm not even slacking! I'm working harder than I ever have.

Here's a little background information:
I received 1 C, 3 B's, and 2 A's first semester senior year and somehow received the Trustee Scholarship (I might've interviewed well... who knows)?

This semester, I might receive the same or perhaps 2 B's and 3 A's instead.

Of course... just to throw it in, what will happen if that C is a D instead?

I'm really worried... if I lose this scholarship, I will have to take out loans.

You have to decide if the scholarship is important to you. If it is then buckle down and get the C/D up. There is a real chance that a D could lose you the scholarship, and your admission.

Get your grades up. Students can’t take out big loans by themselves and your parents may not co-sign if they realize that the loan is because you lost your scholarship over grades. Besides, that would be tooooo much debt over 4 years.

If you receive a “D,” you will not receive the Trustee Scholarship, and your admission may be rescinded. Get the grade up.

If you do manage to get the grades up enough to keep the Trustee and your admission, you will have to maintain at least a 3.0 in a minimum of 32 units per year to keep the Trustee Scholarship. If you are struggling this much with your senior year of high school, that may be difficult for you to maintain at USC.

false alarm!
all my grades are all a’s except for one b, which i raised up :)

GREAT news!!! Congratulations on getting your grades up and on the Trustee scholarship!
