Hi, im planning on going to Rutgers this fall, and I am very excited to be going. But there's a problem, and that is AP Chem. Im typically a B student but AP Chem hasnt been nice to me (no matter how hard i've tried) and i have a 66 in the class for the year. I'm trying really hard to get into the C range this last marking period, but if i don't, I'm worried that rutgers is gonna rescind my admission, and I've already paid the enrollment deposit. my grades senior year are otherwise decent, Bs and As mostly with a C in ap us history. someone please just tell me how likely it is for Rutgers to revoke my admission and return my enrollment fee.

Not likely. Regardless of how you are doing, get an AP chem book now and practice doing the problems. It’s worth it to get a 4 or 5 and be able to get out of chem at Rutgers.

@rualum, i forgot to mention that im NOT takin the AP Exam and im going to SAS as an Economics major, sorry, that was important

Yeah I wouldn’t worry about 1 D and most definitely don’t worry about a C or 2.

@rualum thank you so much. ive been stressing about the chem grade a lot lately, the C not so much (its a tough class, a C is a good achievement knowing my teacher haha)

You should probably get a study partner or tutor who is not your teacher. If you are good in math (and you should be if you want to be an econ major) you should be able to handle AP Chem.

@rualum yeah, i have a friend helping me out (hes doing incredibly well and is a few chapters ahead)
