Hello,
I was accepted to UC Berkeley but decided to SIR at UC Davis. I live 20 minutes away from Berkeley, and recently, a family development occurred which requires my attention at home. Now I want to go to Berkeley so I can stay closer to home to attend to this issue. I want to see if I can still SIR at UC Berkeley even though the deadline has long since passed. Is this possible, and whom do I contact? If I explain to admissions my reason, do you think they would let me appeal? Has anyone ever done this before? Thank you!
