I’m a freshman in community college currently taking remedial courses for English and Math for this Fall semester and Spring Semester. I don’t take any college level courses until the summer, next fall (2016), and next spring (2017). When I first scheduled my classes last year when I was a senior in high school, I talked an academic advisor and she recommended me that I take ENG 101 and MATH 100 in the summer, since I can’t take it in the first two semesters and I was planning to take more classes in the Summer to get them out of the way and add more classes later on for the future semesters (if that makes sense lol). The total credits that I need for my major is 60 and at my school, they only let you take up to 17 credits per semester. Is there a possible way that I can still transfer in as a Junior when I go to a university? Even though I’m taking remedial courses?
P.S. I’m a general science major.
