What do you think? Do I have a decent chance of getting in? Should I apply ED?

Also can anyone tell me about financial aid situation at Barnard? I have read a few posts on the matter, but they are all from a couple of years ago…

Also, does anyone know any specifics about Barnard’s International Relations and Political Science programs?

Thank you!!!

If you need to (a) “try to decide” and (b) need to know about the “financial aid situation” … DO NOT APPLY ED !!!

ED is for students who are really, truly, absolutely, completely sure they want to attend Barnard AND are certain they will be able to afford to attend if admitted.

Barnard does not offer an IR major, but you can have an IR focus as part of a poli sci major. That was my d’s major and some of her profs & advisers had very impressive credentials in that area. For the most part, she seemed very happy with the quality of the classes & the profs who taught in her major. She found employment in her field immediately upon graduation, though I’d note she took initiative to go above and beyond Barnard’s offerings along the way.
