Your credentials look great, but the big glaring thing that’s going to raise eyebrows with the admissions department is the 2.7 GPA. It’s not the worst, but it isn’t going to help you very much in the admissions process; if you can bump it up to a 3+ (or even a 3.25), then I’d say you’re very likely to get into BU.

Also, what college do you intend to enroll in? From the looks of your ECs I’m guessing SMG or COM…

Thank you BCDragon, I intend on going to Babson to start up my own business incubator, what is SMG or COM?

SMG is the School of Management (business) and COM is the College of Communication.

I am sorry I just have to comment. To raise a 2.7 to a 3.25 you would have to get a 4.9 and it would need to be for the entire Sr. year which of course they won’t have when making the decision. Some advice on here I just can’t let go…

I don’t understand - did you intend to put this on the Babson thread? Why the BU thread if you don’t want to go there? I would think that your history at Babson would trump your GPA. At BU, with the SATs and GPAs rising every year, I would wonder if they would be able to overlook your SAT/GPA. My guess is that they would offer you CGS, which is a wonderful school (DD attends and LOVES - she is on the path for COM) but in your specific case I would doubt would be a good choice for you. You impress me as someone who wants what they learn to be applicable NOW, and I would wonder if the required CGS coursework would make you impatient. Clearly you have many talents, but honestly, as an admissions officer I would wonder why such a clearly talented person didn’t have higher grades. I am guessing that school isn’t your “thing” as you have so many other interests. I would guess with your obvious drive you will be very successful, but will you complete an education program? Or will you drop out to pursue other interests? Good luck to you! P.S. Be very very careful when you apply to stress what you are looking forward to LEARNING from your experience at the college of your choice - if they think that you think you are “all that” you may be trounced.
