Possible Double Major: Political Science and Creative Writing

These are where my two main interests lie. I plan on attending law school, maybe going into politics, and, probably writing on the side. Is this a good plan? The following are schools which I am considering. Some of them do not offer Creative Writing as a major, but instead they offer an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing. Anyway, here they are:

American University
Brandeis University
George Washington University
Muhlenberg College
Tufts University
Honors College at the University of Pittsburgh (Already Accepted)
University of Rochester

Would these be good universities at which to double major in political science and creative writing?

English will give you a better all-around literary education than Creative Writing. You'll be a better writer for it.

AU gives me the impression of being very orientated on politics/int'l relations/business and not the liberal arts -at all-. I could be very wrong, and I have nothing to base my opinions on at all besides impressions, but if you are certain you want to study creative writing then I would sway away from AU.

I know UR has a fantastic politics program, and is very undergrad/liberal artsy as well for a university. I can't really speak on any others, although I'm going to Brandeis and I'm going to double major in Comp Lit and Creative Writing. I know they have a good creative writing program. Maybe not like Iowa, or some of the LACs, but still a good program. Plus creative writing is alot what you make of it, it's your talent that you're developing.
