Hello I'm a senior applying to college and im wondering if i could apply ED to Bucknell and Lehigh. Bucknell has 2 ED deadlines so say i apply to Lehigh for ED on 11/15 and get denied can i still apply to the Bucknell ED 2/1?
Is this allowed? if so do you recomend it?

You can’t apply ED to two schools. You can, however, apply ED to one and Early Action to the other, if they offer that option. ED is binding and you are required to enroll in that college if accepted, so you can’t apply to two ED.

Bucknell’s ED is in February?

Edit: I just reread your post and think I misinterpreted your question the first time around. I say call Bucknell admissions and see how they feel about it.

If one school’s decision comes before the other school’s early decision deadline, I suppose it’s possible to apply the second school’s early decision if you get rejected from the first.

If you are not admitted to Lehigh ED I, you may apply to Bucknell ED II.

You no longer have any obligation to an ED I college or university if you’re not admitted ED I.

Sikorsky is correct. You can apply to a school offering ED2 if you are turned down by your ED(1) school.

Is this recommended? Sure, if you are absolutely sure that Lehigh is your absolute first choice, that Bucknell is absolutely your second choice, and that you aren’t worried about needing to compare financial aid packages during RD. If you have any nagging suspicions that you might change your mind about what school is your top choice, then don’t apply ED1 or ED2. If you must look for the absolute best financial aid deal, then don’t apply ED1 or ED2.

thanks for the help!
