I am an engineering student, majoring in Civil & Environmental Engineering

9:00-10:00 Math 1b lec
10:00-11:00 Engin10 lec
12:00-1:00 Chem4a lec
1:00-2:00 Math1b dis
2:00-4:00 Accelerated Reading and Writing (COLWRIT R1A)

Tue:
2:00-5:00 Engin10 lab
7:00-8:30 Chem 4a vol

Thur:
3:00-7:00 Chem 4a lab

Do i get to pick the professor and the lecture hall i want?

I am assigned to Clark Kerr, that's why i want all my courses kinda concentrated together. Do i have enough time to go from one lecture hall to the next on monday, wednesday, and friday?

Thanks for replying!

If you are not required to take Chem 4A, I would really not sign up for it. Just saying…

What I did was I used google maps and selected walking and put in my destinations. If it’s anything over ten minutes (since they give you ten minutes to walk in between each class), it’s not enough time.

Also…in my opinion, your schedule is really heavy. ColWrit R1A is six units, and correspondingly, A LOOOT of work. That plus Math 1B being a highly failed+highly difficult course, and Chem 4A also being a difficult chem course, sounds like a lot. If you believe you can do it, go ahead–I’m not saying you can’t, I’m just saying, be careful. :)

Yeah I would take chem1a over chem4a simply because you’re a CEE major and you don’t really need chem in the future. Your schedule is a bit tough for your first semester but still do-able.
