Possible Freshman Classes

<p>Im starting UF as a freshmen this year. My major is Chemistry/Physics. This is my tendative schedule any advice.</p>

<p>PHY 2060 Enriched physics with calculus 1
CHM 2046 General Chemistry 2 (with lab)
MAC 2312 Analytical Geo and Calculus 2
CLT 3370 Myths of Greeks and Romans.</p>

<p>Now I took 6 AP classes and 7 exams this year and I wasnt overwhemled or anything. Th problem is I have no idea how bad a college class is. Alot of people have told me that they took both a college class and its AP equivalent and the AP is 9 times of 10 harder.</p>

<p>I got a letter form the phy department about enriched phy. I took AP Phy B and im feelin really strong on the test, I had a great teacher.</p>

<p>I took AP calc and im pretty sure ill pass the test. Also, in order to take enriched phy i have to take calc 2. so dont make an arguement against calc without attacking enriched phy.</p>

<p>I took ap chem and it was a peice of cake. Id rather skip chem 1.</p>

<p>And the last one. Im done with all my socity and diversity general eds. Im taking it cause i didnt want to take another sci/math. I love mythology and i looked over the syllabus of a past class and its not to bad, i new the basic idea behind most of it. What Im afraid of is that its a 3000 level course. If anyones taken it can they give me some feedback.</p>

<p>I know I can handle each of these individually, and Im not going to party eveynight but i would like to leave my room at least for a breather. Another thing, dont comment on grammer. No one really cares, it just makes you look like a snob</p>

PHY 2049/2049L Gen. Physics 2 w/Lab
CHM 2046/2046L Gen. Chem 2 w/Lab
MAC 3474 Honors Calc III
Fundamentals of Nuc Engineering
and either a class to satisfy diversity credit, or Russian Grammar</p>

<p>Gen Physics I shouldn’t be bad after taking AP Physics B and AP Chem, especially Mechanics and Thermodynamics (I took it at a local state university after taking IB Chem and AP Calc). If i remember correctly, very little actual Calculus goes into solving problems.</p>

<p>If you did well on AP Calc AB (4 or 5) and understand the theory behind everything you did in Calc I, Calc II shouldn’t be too bad (so says my math teacher)</p>

is the syllabus for CHM 2046, many of the same topics were on the AP Chem exam. I bought the book used for CHM 2046 and plan on going over the syllabus this summer</p>

It’s funny because my “tentative” schedule is kinda looking the same. I got the letter from the physics department too. The only reason why I’m even hesitant about having the same schedule is because I’m not sure if i want to take all those classes 1st year.</p>

<p>D took Enriched physics I and II. She especially liked Furic; he taught H2060 when she took it her first semester. </p>
