<p>I'm really interested in dual enrolling at Eastman and Rochester, provided I get some merit aid. What do you think are my chances for getting a half tuition/full tuition merit scholarship?
SAT Verbal: 800, Math 780
SAT II Writing: 800, Biology: 790, Chemistry: 760
Rank: 3/431 in prob. best public school in South Carolina
So far taken 9 AP's, six 5's, one 4, two threes
Activities: Classical piano 10 years, many awards, competitions won, national recognition, etc.
Co-host of first nationally syndicated teen talk show about current events, organized many comm. service projects through it, like benefit concerts, home renovating, etc.
Editor of newspaper column in 5 major newspapers that reach 500,000 ppl.
Captain of science team, VP young independents, etc, leadership awards
Yale Science and Engineering Award, some other research awards

<p>As far as I know, people in NYS get an (almost) automatic $10K but that is it. Nearly all the top kids in my school applied to rochester and they all got the same $10K.</p>
<p>I believe that everyone who gets into Eastman gets merit aid of some kind. Also, the tuition at Eastman is less than it is at UR but you can take as many classes as you want at UR. If you enroll in the double degree program, I think all of your financial stuff still ends up going through Eastman.</p>
