So, I just examined my score report online at collegeboard.com. I was looking at my "score details" for the math section and found that I only had 1 incorrect answer and 1 omitted answer. Is it possible that a raw score of -1 yielded a 740 on the math section? Is this something I should try to fix or was the curve of this test really as harsh as it appears?

The curve for math can be very harsh. For example, in the November 2009 administration of the test, I missed one on math and got a 760.

If you missed 1 and omitted 1, then your raw score would be -2. In that case, it’s very possible that your score should have been 740. Math can have a pretty unforgiving curve.

Ahhh, thats so messed up! I thought -2 raw would be like 760…shoulda guessed on that one i omitted.

^ I had the same for writing , and im sure i didnt ommit any questions unlesss i forgot to do a question lol

The math curve is unforgiving. :X

^ But that’s because its “easy” ;)
