Alright, my scores came back and I am not too happy. My highest taking before was a 670 CR, 720 M, 630 W (8 essay). The one I got back today is 650 CR, 750 M, 790 W (12 essay). This looks like a great improvement, but most of the colleges I am looking at don't even look at writing scores, which brings me to my problem.

When I took this test, I knew I got a few CR questions wrong, but not nearly as many to warrant a 650. In addition, I felt that my essay was worse than the previous one, yet I scored a perfect score, and I felt I got quite a few multiple choice questions wrong.

So, should I call collegeboard and request a recheck or just leave it as is?

You might as well just leave it the way it is. I also scored much lower on CR (660) than I had initially predicted, but I assume there were no errors in the scoring process.

It's a long grueling test. You might feel a sense of exultation after completing it but you can never be too sure. In the heat of battle you make mistakes that can cost you lots of points even if you think its easy. (I was 100% sure I got an 800 in math, but someone pointed out to me an "easy" question I misread and got -1. If he never told me I would have suspected nefarious activities by the Collegeboard)

Yeah, I suppose I probably just made some mistakes on the passages. In past tests, I never got anything wrong on the passages, always vocabulary questions, which led to my suspicions. But there is no way in hell I'm paying $50 for hand-grading!

There might be a problem if you thought you were getting 700+ but got a 500. But if it's only 50-100 point different you probably overestimated your score.
