Possible reaches and safeties

Hello College Confidential,
I am currently a senior waiting to hear back from my EA schools, if it's positive then I will be thrilled, and apply to reaches regular, if it's not positive then I will need to apply to safety schools. My problem is I don't have a solid list of either schools. Here are my current schools, and yes they have been evaluated as targets.

Reaches:Tufts, Claremont McKenna
Targets: Northeastern, Babson, Lehigh, Lafayette, George Washington, William and Mary
Safeties:None...

Can any of your give me further suggestions as far as reaches and safeties, for example, would Georgetown be a realistic reach? As well as safeties too, obviously.

Give your stats please. Have you taken SAT/ACT? What is your GPA?

I have a 1930 SAT, 700 CR, 610 Writing, 620 Math. GPA doesn’t exist at my school, but my average is a 91 (no fluff classes included).

Your safeties also need to be schools that you know that you will have the funds to afford thru either ASSURED grants or scholarships and/or family funds.

What is your budget?

What is your home state?

*if it’s positive then I will be thrilled, and apply to reaches regular, if it’s not positive then I will need to apply to safety schools. *

EA schools usually don’t give FA packages until spring…so even if you’re admitted, you need to apply to some financial safety schools …unless your family can pay full freight. If money is an issue, then an EA school may prove to be unaffordable once FA packages come out.

However, if money is no object, then no worries about that.

Penn State, U of Minnesota, Rutgers (New Brunswick) are possible safeties (check them out).
