Possible Rescind at Berkeley?

Hi! I have already talked to several counselors about this topic, but silly, anxious me just wants another opinion.

I was accepted to Berkeley’s CNR for transfer in fall 2015. I am currently completing my last semester at CC, and I am worried that getting a D in a class is going jeopardize my admission to Cal. The class I may possibly get a D in is NOT part of my major prep and is NOT part of my IGETC certification. It’s just an additional class that I am taking so I can meet 60 units. I know that D’s are technically still transferable, but do people even transfer to Cal with D’s? It’s pretty unheard of for me.

I’m working my butt off so that a C is a more likely possibility, but I’m still worried. I’ve tried everything, but my professor is of no help. I even hired a tutor, but I’m still worried. Also, my conditions of admission says that I need to maintain a 3.0, which I’m not worried about. Even if I get a D, my projected GPA for spring will still be about a 3.4.

Any thoughts?

Do the conditions have any other specific grade requirements (i.e. “no grade lower than a C”)?

@ucbalumnus Yes, It does. I’ve been told not to worry too much and that if I notify them as soon as I find out if I do get a D, then they will most likely work with me. Still nervous about the situation though.
