Possible rescinding? Please help

So I committed to UCSC in April. First semester I got a 3.2 weighted GPA, 2.4 unwt. This semester, it's possible that I'll get a 2.0 unwt. GPA (straight Cs) and a 2.8 wt. GPA.

I'm a little unclear on the policy. They state that they don't want anything below a C. But I've also heard that you must keep a 3.0 wt. GPA. And unless I can get a class up to a B, which I will desperately try to do, then it looks like I'll be going to a JC because of the 2.8 GPA, which would be heartbreaking after years of hard work.

There are personal reasons for my dip in grades that I don't care to post on here. I guess what I'm asking is does anyone know if I'm likely to get my acceptance revoked? No conjectures, please. I'd like to hear from someone with experience with rescinded or almost rescinded UCSC admissions. Thank you!

I think you’re fine, though I’m not sure. You should probably ask ucsc since they’re going to find out anyway.

Email admissions, they may have you fill out a notification of a grade form if they feel it is too low.
