Just got grades back and I got a term GPA of 1.42 but an overall GPA above 2.0. Does this mean I'm Subject to Dismissal? If so, does that mean I'm automatically going to get kicked out or do I get a quarter to bring it up? Anyone know the rules for getting off such a probation? I think they send a letter, but I'm out of town for the holidays and I'm feeling sick not knowing what's up. Is there any way I check online my status? It says I'm still registered in school for Winter and all my classes are fine, but I'm seriously tweaking out because I had never gotten a quarter GPA that low before. I'm in my LAST FREAKIN' YEAR OF COLLEGE and am expected to walk in the Spring. Help!?

As long as you’re at a 2.0 or above, I think you’re alright.

[Academic Probation](http://www.ugeducation.ucla.edu/counseling/regulations/probation.htm)

There are three ways a student can become STD:

* GPA in any one term falls below 1.5
- Term GPA falls below 2.0 while on Probation
- Student does not clear Probation within two terms (i.e., does not return to an overall GPA of 2.0 or better)

All STD students are mailed academic guidelines that they must meet in order to regain good academic standing. The steps necessary to clear STD status depend on the individual student’s case. Students who are STD should follow the written instructions sent to them by their College advising unit. Some offices may offer special group sessions, and some may require or encourage individual appointments with Counselors.

Sounds hopeful right?

looks like you’re good :P

just do better next quarter :D

Every job I’ve interviewed for have requested my gpa, even though I completed a degree. Since it’s your last year, MAKE SURE YOU DO BETTER. Don’t worry about staying in school and not getting kicked out…try and maximize your gpa to help you get that full time job after graduation

i was curious when this mail would be arriving? does anyone know?
