Yes, another I just got my scores thread. 5 in Eng Lang and 3 USH. I honestly feel like they reversed the scores or something. I didn't even finish the synthesis for Lang. I left out the conclusion and half the fourth paragraph. The other two were even worse. I didn't mention ONE valid rhetorical strategy.

But USH, I thought I knocked out of the park. I must have put in at least like 7 pieces of outside info in the DBQ, and the immigration one was so easy. I wrote an entire paper contrasting immigration between time periods for this year, so I feel that essay had to be an 8 or 9.

So is it possible something got screwed up?

I wouldn’t complain about the Lang- I know a lot of people who got fives, so mabe they were grading easier this year or something. But if you feel like you should have dont better on the US history, you could give some money to collegeboard and ask for a rescore.

However, a rescore can always be a waste of money.

I believe rescores only apply to multiple choice, also, so if your essays were poorly graded for APUSH you might still come back with a 3. But people do sometimes rescore and get back something different, so it might be worth a shot.

I know someone who received a 3 on their APUSH exam, and then they sent it for rescoring where they discovered that the College Board put his mc with someone else’s essay. Everything was corrected and he got a 5. Rescoring works.
