<p>When I was accepted into UMD, I was accepted into the Global Communities Program. Is it possible to appeal to get into the Scholars Program instead? I don't think my GPA and standardized test scores fall behind too much, and my extracurriculars/community service doesn't seem to be that bad either. </p>
<p>But first things first, is it even possible to appeal or is the decision final?</p>

<p>On the form it asks for the intended major. I applied as a mechanical engineering major but I am going to switch to computer engineering. For the intended major, do I write mechanical engineering or computer engineering?</p>
