I’ve never taken any honors classes, and I finished my last 2 years of highschool online so no volunteering hours or extracurricular activities. But, I managed to get a 35 composite score on the ACT. Do I have a chance??? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
I’d apply EA and send in an explanatory note about your online classes instead of just writing about it in your RD application. UGA weights GPA and rigor as the most important factors, with an average 3.9 GPA and 7 AP/IB classes. Without any AP/IB classes, you’ll need to explain why you were unable to take them. If they do not account for rigor, you should be fine applying EA.
