The first time I took the SAT (at the beginning of my junior year), I scored a 2320. Then, at the end of my junior year, I took it again and scored a 2200 (because I wasn't feeling very well that day). Is it possible to cancel this score? I'm applying to a lot of colleges that want to see ALL SAT scores, and I'm afraid a score over 120 points lower that what I first got won't look too good... Is it possible to cancel it somehow?

Thanks, and any information helps!

If the test has already been scored I don’t think you can cancel it now. For colleges that want all scores you’ll just have to send them. A 2200 is NOT a bad score by any means. I doubt your SAT score will keep you out of any school.

Doesn’t it make sense that you can’t cancel your test AFTER seeing the score?

If schools use Score Choice, just don’t send it. And even if you do have to send all scores, schools will take your best sitting or superscore.

The only thing they might wonder about, is why in the world someone would retake a 2320

I am unsure why you retook it.

This is a terrible idea, but if you are really worried, you could retake it and score above 2320…or you could take the ACT and send that score to the non-score-choice schools.
