i am taking math2 and i have already taken precalc this year.

i have already finished the functions chapter and well into the next chapter(in 30 minutes). should i keep going and finish the book? or will i not reach it? i don't mind losing sleep before the day of test cause i would rather feel confident and a little sleepy about the test the day off than feel unconfident and active.

also how many practice tests do u suggest?

dont read the book , just take some tests and go over them thoroughly

@talib3: i haven’t exactly learned a few things like conics/matrices and all that. i have totally forgetten some concepts also><(mostly probability.)

i think what i am going to do is take a nap and rest up my brain(took 3 chem tests in a row and my brain is completely done~) and then rip apart this book~

probably going to sleep mad late also~

If you haven’t, take the diagnostic test. If you’re scoring in the high 600s on the Barrons test, just take a few more tests to practice and you should get a good score. (730+?)

Of course, especially go over the topics that you haven’t covered or don’t remember well. If you’re scoring in the 500s you probably should’ve given yourself more time to study.

ight man. i was in the middle of taking a diag when i omited like 30% of the questions ><
so i gave up on it…

should i even bother finishing it? cause i couldn’t even properly time myself…

What I did was take the diagnostic test, read what I don’t know, take the quizzes that are found at the end of each section, and take another test, find what sections I need to review, then read those sections, retake the quizzes, and take another test.

And the actual test didn’t really test on conics, and I didn’t see any matrices in it. Also, the test only had like 2-3 probability problems, which I either guessed or omitted.
Don’t worry if you can’t get in the 700s in the practice tests. I have never scored higher than 690 but scored 800 on the actual test. ^^;;

i would say just review concepts u dont know and review how to solve the problems on the diagnostic test.
if u feel really unconfident after taking the test u could always cancel the score and take it again another time when u dont have to cram everything the last day :P

ight guys thanks. i have been really focused on chem~
now ima focus on math2 till like 12 AM-ish… and do what becha2 suggested.(this includes 2 practice tests~)

after that ima take one more chem test and review solubility rules(still can’t get them down. argggghh) and sleep~
