Possible to do a Physics major

I think I might switch my major to a physics major with an aim in Biophysics or particle physics.

But do you think it's still possible for me to get into a good graduate school (I'm looking at Stony Brook University. I saw on their website I still at least a B in my math and science courses) with a few Cs in my science and math courses. I'm definitely thinking about bringing my gpa next semester and so on by taking fewer classes (I've always taken 16 and 17 credits esp. with all of them being science and math practically) or balancing my semester out with more liberal arts credits so it will not be too hard on me.

What do you think?

We need a bit more background info. What were you majoring in? What year are you in?

Also, biophysics and particle physics are two very different fields. Biophysics studies protein folding, and is, at a fundamental level, a necessarily biological genre (obviously). Particle physics is hardly biological, and theoretically intensive.

Look further into these fields and see what interests you.
