Yesterday I took SATII Chem practice test in PR..and scored 700.

Today I just took AP Chem in PR and got 52 on MC.. and the book says if you can get at least 50 you'll probably get a 5 (considering that you do about the same in free-response section).

I did free-response too and I think I did about the same.. although there was no numerical rubric to grade.

I thought I was giong to ace SATII if I focused on AP.. arghghghgh!!

Did anybody do worse in APs than in SATIIs?

I did much worse on AP chem practice tests than on SAT II Chem practice tests, as well. The AP test is simply harder than the SAT II, in my opinion.

I did. I took the spark notes one and they said I would score a 2. Lol. I did it without any prep and finished in like ten minutes. It is probably logical to do worse on the AP chem that the SAT II. I did the Kaplan SAT II and got a 690 on the practice. As yo can see, I am not a chem genius

I thought that the AP Chem test was much harder than the SAT IIs, which I took less than a month later. I got a 4 on AP, and a 760 on SAT II. I guess I just don't like free response questions! :-)

I got a 5 on my biology AP, but I waited until June to take the SAT II and didn't review, so I got a 750. If you take your SAT IIs and APs really close together, I don't think it should be a problem.

I got a 5 on AP, and 780 on SAT II. It's harder on SAT 2 since AP has a much better curve.. and it's not that hard to get 80-90% right on the FRQs.

You can always find old FRQ on apcentral and they are provided with scoring guides.
