Possible to double major for engineering and business?

Is it possible to double major in those two areas or is it overly difficult?

The problem would be fitting in all the required classes. Business and especially engineering both have a large number of required courses. So it would be very difficult to complete such a program in four years.

Well there is a combined major in computer science and business, which just so happens to be my major! Its formally under the engineering department, but you have to be accepted by both Marshall and Viterbi, and you are a member of both schools.

What is the selectivity for the combined major for business and computer science usually?

Its probably the same as any other engineering major, which means its going to be pretty competitive. The only thing that might make this major slightly more difficult to get into is that you have to be accepted by both schools.

Is it possible to add the engineering after being accepted for business administration? Sorry for all these questions. It's just a little confusing to me.

I don't think so, because since the major is formally offered through the engineering department, you would be leaving your regular business administration major and switching to the Computer Science/Business Administration major, meaning you would have to apply to the engineering school in order to switch.
Heres the link to the major:

Okay thanks I see that. Well if you get rejected by the engineering school, is it possible to still attend USC for the business side?

I'm not sure how that would work, but if i remember correctly I think the USC application has you choose your top 2 or three majors, so I would assume they could still accept you into your second choice major.

I heard this past year Viterbi had 4000 applicants for 400 spots. I don't know how competitive Marshall Business is.
