Possible to double major in Course 18c and 14?

Is it possible to double major in 18c (math and computer science) and Course 14 (economics), or is 18c already considered somewhat of a double major?

I’m fairly sure that you can. I think the only things you can’t double major 18C with are 6-2 and 6-3 (for course overlap reasons). But 18C in itself is not a double major.

Yes, you can absolutely double in 18C and 14.

Thanks Mollie and wellthatsokay – I was hoping that was the case. If one majors in 18C, do you basically learn as much in computer science as you would if you were a 6-3 major? I guess I’m trying to fit in the most for all 3 of my major interests (math, CS, and economics), because I’m still undecided about future career.

^ No, you won’t learn as much CS compared to being a 6-3 major. You’ll still learn enough to be useful, though, and can always take more course 6 classes in your elective space.

Thanks Piper – that’s good to know.
